It seems there was more snow the further south you went. Lexington reported 7 inches at the airport, but I know we had more than that at our house and we're much more south than the airport is. Makes sense that you all would get around 14.

Oh how I miss naps!! You are so lucky that you got to keep them so long. My 2 year old still naps, but I have to put him down around 2 or 2:30 for that to happen. Any earlier and he just sings to himself and plays and doesn't sleep. The twins stopped napping at 2.5 years old. That was tough!! They still needed it, but they just would not sleep.

Happy Blogivesary!! I know I'm way late, so sending my best wishes belatedly.

And, I LOVE your idea of a paid vacation day for everyone on Leap Day. Maybe you should run for president!! :)Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06430536729673110616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7130632193066753705.post-1784313316065783402016-02-27T17:50:16.368-05:002016-02-27T17:50:16.368-05:00Well, they were supposed to be bald eagles. That time is truly golden in more ways than one. Elizabeth is 4 and still takes a 2-2 1/2 hour nap each day and Katharine naps twice a day. I actually think Katharine will give up napping before Elizabeth does. Elizabeth LOVES her sleep. I have noticed that she doesn't go to sleep as early at night, but honestly, that hasn't bothered me as my DH goes to bed at 7pm because of a really early work start time, so I don't mind having my little nighttime buddy and that couple hours in the afternoon for me to get some work done is golden.
